Responsibilities
•Assist in day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
•Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
•Assist in communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
•Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
•Assist HR team in recruitment process to post job advertisements (ads) on careers pages and process incoming resumes to prepare the long list.
•Manage and update HR database with different information such as new hires, terminations, warnings, vacation, and days off hard and soft copies.
•Administer attendance sheet, leaves, sick leave, overtime for SOS staff.
• Assist the HR Officer in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absence, overtime, unpaid leave …etc.)
•Responsible for all employees’ personnel files and maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
•Conduct or assist with new hire orientation/ onboarding.
•Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
•Provides clerical support to the HR department personnel.

Child Safeguarding (CS)
•Child protection is everyone's responsibility.
•Responsible within own area of work to prevent and protect children of all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination based on SOS Child Protection Policy principles.
•Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to the respective line manager.


Qualifications
-Bachelor/license Degree in Human Resources or Business administrator or any other related field.
-Minimum 1year experience in relevant field
- Very Good level of English and Arabic languages.
-Proficient of MS Office package and proficient user of HR software.



Specific Vacancy Requirements
-Create new hire and making copies, faxing documents, assist or prepare correspondence and perform a variety of other clerical functions.
-Perform general administrative duties for the Human Resources function including activities such as (but not limited to): scheduling meetings, distributing mail, maintaining files, assisting with calendar management, updating Human Resources documents, scheduling and planning interviews and etc.
-Assist department in carrying out various HR programs and procedures for the organization’s employees at all locations.
-Has a solid understanding of HR functions and is familiar with policies and procedures
-Adhere to confidentiality
-Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
-Possess strong interpersonal skills
-communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings
-Effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information
-Able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
-Organize, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
-Able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
