Responsibilities
Program Implementation and Support
• Implement field activities of concern as defined in the respective ToRs and as instructed by line managers;
• Maintain proper communication and coordinate field activities with relevant authorities and all key stakeholders;
• Support project staff to ensure they are able to provide quality structured psychosocial support activities for children and their family as relevant;
• Provide CP case management to beneficiaries, with a focus on UASC children, children who are survivors or at immediate risk of abuse, neglect, or child labour, children with disabilities, or children with other specific identified vulnerabilities, according to IASC guidelines, and refer to specific services, if necessary;
• Follow up of all cases identified associating their caregivers;
• Working closely with Social Workers, identify beneficiaries in need of further specialised support during Child Protection related awareness raising campaigns provided via mobile teams;
• Implement home-based rehabilitation programs, with a special focus on children with disabilities;
• Establish and update a map of services to which identified children and families can be referred.

Reporting
• Report daily details of activities performed to the Project Officer;
• Prepare required reporting of implemented activities;
• Represent one of the points of contact with beneficiaries and collect and address any concerns or complaints related to the project or to CP issues;
• Document all individual case management cases, ensuring that documentation is of high quality and accurate; ensure that case management information is managed according to approved procedures, e.g., case management forms, that records and computer databases are used appropriately and correctly, and protected accordingly;
• Monitor abuses of child rights and report to line managers for further advocacy;
• Prepare and submit monthly reports incorporating feedback from supervisors, and including information on survivor non-identifying data, treatment provided, follow-up visits, referrals to other service providers, and outreach activities conducted;
• Support the Field Assistants in any M&E activities related to the project.

Compliance
• Ensure the correct and clear filling in of activities documents and justifications;
• Ensure a positive work environment by facilitating communication and good cooperation among colleagues;
• Ensure that project activities are implemented in line with COOPI's Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and any other adopted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and guidelines;
• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ensure that implemented activities do not put children at risk;
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for beneficiaries;
• Perform any other tasks relevant to the project assigned by a line manager.


Qualifications
Education & Professional Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Social Science, Psychology, Counselling or in a related field;
• Minimum 03 years of relevant work experience;
• Arabic native speaker;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Having worked with an INGO is considered a plus;
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of Child Protection matters, children case management and community-based approaches;
• Good computer literacy (especially for Office package and internet applications).

• Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to grow professionally;
• Respect for non-discriminatory attitude, empathy;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially with vulnerable children;
• Ability to work with traumatized target groups and to remain calm in conditions of high pressure and distress.
