Responsibilities
Program Implementation and Support
• Implement field activities of concern as defined in the respective ToRs and as instructed by line managers;
• Maintain proper communication and coordinate field activities with relevant authorities and all key stakeholders;
• Organize and lead structured PSS sessions for survivors and people at risk of generic protection violations, in accordance with IASC guidelines;
• Organize awareness campaigns on GBV -related topics and key messages via mobile units;
• Identify GBV survivors at heightened risk and/or in need of specific support and provide them with due information on how to access services;
• Provide parenting programs targeting beneficiaries in all project locations via mobiles teams;
• Organize Child Protection related awareness sessions and raising campaigns via mobile teams in coordination with experts in specialised services;
• Organize EO awareness sessions at community level via mobile teams;
• Support the establishment of community-based committees and train them on protection prevention measures;
• Train identified LNGOs and volunteers on specific technical needs;
• Conduct protection monitoring by regular and systematic collection, verification and analysis of information to identify human rights violations and protection risks;
• Assist field assistants in implementing any other ERL-related activities through supporting employment opportunities and organizing vocational training.

Reporting
• Report daily details of activities performed to the Project Officer;
• Prepare required reporting of implemented activities;
• Represent one of the points of contact with beneficiaries and collect and address any concerns or complaints related to the project or to protection issues;
• Refer potential protection cases to other service providers for case management;
• Support the Field Assistants in any M&E activities related to the project.

Compliance
• Ensure the correct and clear filling in of activities documents and justifications;
• As primary contact persons, assess the needs of PwDs and provide customized support for mobility and access to information;
• Ensure a positive work environment by facilitating communication and good cooperation among colleagues;
• Ensure that project activities are implemented in line with COOPI's Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and any other adopted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and guidelines;
• Perform any other tasks relevant to the project assigned by a line manager.


Qualifications
Education & Professional Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Social Science or in a related field;
• Minimum 03 years of relevant work experience;
• Arabic native speaker;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Having worked with an INGO is considered a plus;
• Demonstrated skills in protection needs assessment, counselling and social work.

Personal Skills
• Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to grow professionally;
• Respect for non-discriminatory attitude, empathy;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially with vulnerable people;
• Ability to work with traumatized target groups and to remain calm in conditions of high pressure and distress.
