Responsibilities
1. Execute work orders issued by Planning & Engineering Unit and assigned by HOS related on PS network nodes within required time frame
2. Implement PS (Packet Switch) network design, new features and services according to the preset requirements.
3. Prepare and apply traffic test scenarios for new PS network node.
4. Perform acceptance tests for PS network elements and features.
5. Integrate new PS network node in coordination with the provider.
6. Check PS network elements performance through PS network counters results and apply the required actions.
7. Follow up providers’ intervention in installing and commissioning PS network elements.
8. Review the activities performed by PS Operation Technician to ensure their effectiveness.
9. Apply security requirements on PS network nodes through firewall installation, configuration and administration for PS network elements.
10. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on PS network nodes based on preset schedule, fault alarms or customers’ complaints.
11. Coordinate with providers for support in the operation and maintenance of PS network.
12. Inspect network transport materials in warehouse as requested.
13. Solve customers' complaints received by Customer Service effectively and timely as per related policies and procedures.
14. Provide Customer Service Dept. with complete and accurate feedback about the actions applied to solve complaints.
15. Keep records about the corrective and preventive actions applied to solve customers’ complaints.
16. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
17. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
18. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor Degree in Telecom /Electronic Engineering
2. Experience: 2 years of Technical Experience in Telecom is required
3. Professional Certification: CCNA/CCNP is a plus
