1. Build and deploy release code and software updates on production environment accurately and in a secure way.
2. Monitor applications services, logs and performance and ensure setting the necessary alerts to notify concerned of application abnormal behavior.
3. Identify the components and services upon which application functionality depends.
4. Handle business request through automation, customization, configuration, integration and reporting.
5. Troubleshoot incidents reported by users as per the section service catalog and report/fix unresolved incidents/ service requests to concerned parties.
6. Analyze change requests related to service/ feature/ servers/network, etc. on any production application in order to provide feedback to concerned parties.
7. Take the necessary measures that ensure rolling back faulty changes.
8. Participate in setting the operational requirements needed for application functionality.
9. Govern and securely maintain the approved release of assigned application related files.
10. Analyze current technologies and develop steps, tools and processes to improve the management of production environment.
11. Work on the process for controlling the flow of application lifecycle from code to deployment.
12. Review acceptance test results that are reported by MIS Testing Section, highlight the accepted defects and keep it as a reference for potential failure or incident.
13. Participate in developing disaster recovery plans of assigned applications in coordination with concerned entities to maintain service availability.
14. Apply supported configurations on live systems as per business/operation requests.
15. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
16. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
17. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / IT Engineering (Software/ Information Systems) is required.
2. Experience: 1 Year of applications operation experience is a plus.
3. Professional Certification: ITIL Foundation/ MCITP/ASL/ DevOps Master are a plus.
